PRIVACY & DATA PRACTICES
Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Get Me Home Pros collects, uses and discloses information through its home-improvement marketing, project-intake and possible provider-connection service.
Privacy contact: Questions or privacy requests may be sent to privacy@getmehomepros.com or submitted through our Privacy Choices page.
Information we collect
Information you provide
Project category, ZIP code, property ownership or authorization, property type, work type, project scope, readiness, timeline, optional project description, contact preferences, name, email address, telephone number, consent selections and communications.
Technical and attribution data
IP address, browser/device information, page URL, referrer, interactions, timestamps and campaign parameters such as UTM source, medium and campaign.
How we use information
- Receive, organize and evaluate a project request.
- Identify potentially relevant participating service professionals.
- Facilitate communications requested or consented to by the consumer.
- Document consent, attribution and request history.
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the service.
- Prevent fraud, misuse and unlawful activity and comply with legal obligations.
How information may be disclosed
Depending on your request and consent, information may be disclosed to participating independent service professionals that may be able to respond to the requested category and location. Information may also be disclosed to vendors supporting hosting, communications, analytics, security, compliance, consent documentation and secure lead delivery; to professional advisers; or when legally required.
Get Me Home Pros does not perform home-improvement work. Participating providers are independent businesses and control their own estimates, contracts, credentials and services.
Service providers and production vendors
WorldLink Enterprises LLC operates Get Me Home Pros. Hostinger currently provides domain, DNS, website-hosting and business-email infrastructure. We may use additional approved vendors for security, communications, consent documentation, analytics and secure request delivery only when those services are configured. Participating service professionals receive information as independent businesses under the consent and disclosures presented when a request is submitted.
Cookies and similar technologies
We may use cookies and similar technologies for essential operation, security and fraud prevention. Non-essential analytics or advertising technologies will be disclosed and, where required, placed behind appropriate preference controls before activation.
Calls, texts and email
Where you provide the required consent, Get Me Home Pros and participating service professionals may contact you about your request as described in the TCPA Consent Disclosure. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. You may reply STOP to opt out of texts or use an email unsubscribe link where provided. Revoking marketing consent does not prevent communications needed to process prior requests or comply with law.
Your choices and rights
You may request access, correction or deletion where applicable, withdraw communication consent, or exercise state-specific privacy rights. California residents should review the California Privacy Notice and Privacy Choices page.
Retention and security
We apply the following operational retention schedule unless a shorter or longer period is required for an active request, legal obligation, dispute, fraud prevention or security incident:
- Project inquiries, contact details and related communications: up to 24 months after the last relevant activity.
- Privacy requests and identity-verification records: 24 months after the request is closed.
- Consent, opt-out and suppression records: up to five years where reasonably necessary to document consent, honor preferences or meet legal obligations.
- Routine security and access logs: up to 12 months, unless needed for investigation.
- Backup copies: removed through the ordinary backup cycle, generally within 90 days after deletion from active systems.
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards, but no transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children
This service is intended for adults seeking home-related services and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
Third-party services
Provider websites and third-party services have their own privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information directly to them.
Updates
We may update this policy when our practices, vendors or legal obligations change. We review the policy at least annually and revise the effective date when a material update is published.
